HC801 is a fluorine-containing oil and water repellent fabric finishing agent suitable for the finishing of natural fibers, chemical fibers, and blended fabrics. Treated fabrics exhibit excellent waterproof and oil-proof effects, as well as good washing resistance.
Basic Properties:
Component: Fluorinated organic compounds
Appearance: Milky white liquid
pH Value: Acidic
Ionicity: Weak cationic
Specific Gravity (20℃): 1.06 kg/L
Solubility: Easily soluble in water
Characteristics | Advantages |
1. Wide application range | Suitable for natural fibers, chemical fibers, and blended fabrics. |
2. Self-crosslinking water/oil repellent | Forms water/oil repellent film at high temperatures, with excellent washing resistance and no impact on fabric hand feel. |
3. Good processing compatibility | Can be co-bathed with anti-UV, flame-retardant, and antibacterial finishing agents. |
4. No impact on fabric indicators | No adverse effects on fabric whiteness, color tone, strength, hand feel, moisture absorption, or air permeability. |
5. Safe and hygienic for consumers | Non-toxic, safe, and non-irritating to skin. Does not require formaldehyde-containing crosslinking agents, meeting ecological textile requirements. |
Application Methods
HC801 is typically applied via the pad-dry-cure method. Specific dosage and procedures vary by fabric type, density, and weight.
1. Pure Cotton Fabrics
Dosage: 15–50 g/L
Process Flow:
Pad (pickup rate: 60–70%) → Dry (100°C × 2–3 min) → Cure (170°C × 1 min)
2. Polyester Fabrics
Dosage: 10–30 g/L
Process Flow:
Pad (pickup rate: 60–70%) → Dry (110°C × 2–3 min) → Cure (170°C × 1 min)
3. Nylon Fabrics
Dosage: 10–40 g/L
Process Flow:
Pad (pickup rate: 60–70%) → Dry (110°C × 1–2 min) → Cure (170°C × 1 min)
4. Polyester/Cotton Blended Fabrics
Dosage: 20–50 g/L
Process Flow:
Pad (pickup rate: 60–70%) → Dry (110°C × 2–3 min) → Cure (170°C × 1 min)
Precautions
Note: Actual dosage may be adjusted based on required performance.
Before blending with other auxiliaries, conduct preliminary tests to confirm compatibility. Dilute the agent with 2–3 times water before mixing to avoid direct contact between undiluted agents.
Residual hydrophilic substances from previous processing on fabrics may affect performance. Ensure fabrics are thoroughly cleaned before oil/water repellent treatment.
Sufficient curing is critical during processing; insufficient curing will impair performance.
Use the working solution containing the water repellent and blended agents within 12 hours. For solutions stored long-term, confirm stability and performance before reuse.
Store at -5°C to 40°C to prevent freezing. After opening, seal tightly to prevent volatilization, and avoid open flames or direct sunlight.
