HC802 is a fluorine-containing paper oil and water repellent agent suitable for various types of paper requiring oil and water resistance. Treated paper exhibits excellent waterproof and oil-proof effects, and the performance is not easily lost even if the paper is damaged.
Basic Properties:
Component: Fluorinated organic compounds
Appearance: Milky white liquid
Active Content: 30% ± 1
pH Value: 6.5
Ionicity: Weak cationic
Specific Gravity (20℃): 1.06 kg/L
Solubility: Easily soluble in water
Characteristics | Advantages |
1. Wide application range | Suitable for various types of paper. |
2. Self-crosslinking water/oil repellent | Can crosslink with paper fibers during papermaking or post-treatment to achieve oil and water resistance. |
3. No impact on paper indicators | No adverse effects on paper whiteness, color tone, dry/wet tensile strength, burst strength, or air permeability. |
4. Safe and hygienic for consumers | Non-toxic, safe, and non-irritating to skin. Does not require formaldehyde-containing crosslinking agents, meeting ecological textile requirements. |
Application Methods
HC 802 can be used during the papermaking process or through post-treatment impregnation to achieve the required performance indicators.
Precautions
Note: Actual dosage may be adjusted based on required performance.
Before blending with other auxiliaries, conduct preliminary tests to confirm compatibility. Dilute the agent with 2–3 times water before mixing to avoid direct contact between undiluted agents.
Residual hydrophilic substances from previous processing on paper may affect performance. Ensure paper is thoroughly cleaned before oil/water repellent treatment.
Sufficient curing is critical during processing; insufficient curing will impair performance.
Use the working solution containing the water repellent and blended agents within 12 hours. For solutions stored long-term, confirm stability and performance before reuse.
Store at -5°C to 40°C to prevent freezing. After opening, seal tightly to prevent volatilization, and avoid open flames or direct sunlight.
