Product Details

HC-160 is a fluoro polymer compound that can extinguish solvent fires. It is a reinforced anionic low molecular weight fluorinated polymer with an active content of 35% and is miscible with water in any ratio.

HC-160 can lower the surface tension of aqueous solutions. HC-160 is soluble in fresh water and sea water. However, it is insoluble in organic solvents and has hydrophilic and oil repellent functions, especially insoluble in polar solvents such as ethanol, acetone, etc. HC-160 can be mixed with anionic, amphoteric and cationic surfactants. There is no need to add any polysaccharides by using HC-160. HC-160 has been especially designed to be used in both synthetic and protein-based, film-forming fire fighting foam agents, such as AFFF, AR-AFFF, FFFP and AR-FFFP.
